Queenstown Harbor Golf Cottages on the Chester River

This project was fun to complete, starting with a clean slate is always exciting. We decided to tie the cottages together with a centrally located fire pit, with ample seating for guests. Each cottage is a separate residence, so we wanted to have walkways coming from each cottage, but while walking on the paths you are separated by extensive plantings. The plants we chose attract butterflies and are deer resistant, which was important in this area. The hardscape material includes TechoBloc pavers, steel edging, DE valley stone, PA flagstone, and Fx Luminaire low voltage lighting. Each cottage and surrounding areas also include drainage systems, to re-route water.

Plants and trees used on this job include the following: Crape Myrtles, Weeping Redbuds, Sweet Bay Magnolias, Feather Reed Grass, Panicum Grass, Muhlenbergia Capillaris Grass, Fountain Grass, Russian Sage, Agastache, Iris, Catmint, Carex, Guara, Salvia, Buddleia Pugster Blue.
