Wye River Pool and Landscape Project

With this property, we did a complete siting and design of the pool as well as the hardscapes and landscape. We tied the house, pool, and outdoor living area into the design by connecting it with the flow of a walkway and landscaped beds. For this property, travertine was used around the pool and for the patio off the house. We also used TechoBloc pavers for some walkways toward the front of the house. This lot was located on the water, so we used our expertise to make sure everything was up to county regulation requirements. This client wanted plants that were going to look great, but also plants that attracted butterflies and bees for their children to see. Delaware valley stone was used for a border around a portion of the pool, for easy accessibility to the filters. We also installed Fx luminaire lighting in addition to irrigation, so the clients could have a worry-free garden. Our perennial selection allows our client to enjoy their landscaping in all seasons, not just Summer.

Plants and trees used on this job include the following: Sweet Bay Magnolia, Crape Myrtles, Boxwoods, Portuguese Laurel, Agastache, Russian Sage, Catmint, Guara, Echinacea Wild Berry, Hydrangeas, Carex, Mexican Feather Grass, Coreopsis, Dianthus, Abelias, Buddleias, Phlox, Rudbeckia, and more.
